Becoming Empowered (Making God Proud)

We are spiritual energy born into physical form. Once you acknowledge that divine fact, you then have become empowered to live ‘a fulfilling life-experience’. But wait, what is ‘a fulfilling life-experience’? A ‘fulfilling life-experience’ is one in which the spirit is able to grow as a spirit so as to honor its soul purpose while the ego exudes compassion, truth, respect and generosity.   ‘A fulfilling life-experience’ is not one that does not see tragedy; rather it is one that heals from tragic events. ‘A fulfilling life-experience’ is not one that does not experience heartbreak, betrayal, and exploitation; rather it is one that heals from those instances. Basically, ‘a fulfilling life-experience’ will include negative events and outcomes; yet it will also include healing, enlightenment and empowerment.

As spiritual energy, we are ‘divine power’. And within that ‘divine power’ are ‘elements of God’ – blessed particles of love, trust, respect, honesty, patience, kindness and understanding. Though this ‘divine power’ is contained within your being, it must also share the space with the ‘power source’ of the physical form – and this would be the ego. When dealing with a traumatic event, your spirit (spiritual energy) will want to move on, while your ego will want to wallow in self-pity. Your spirit, in the same matter, will want to understand the experience, heal from the wound and share its growth; while your ego just wants to feel no pain, forget everything happened, and of course never speak of the matter again. Your spirit wants to become empowered – to acknowledge those ‘elements of God’ that are within it. Your ego wants to remain as-is…it does not wish to venture into understanding, discovery, growth and healing for these are unfamiliar territories. For the ego, it’s easier to hurt than to not.

When we become empowered, we show God that we have acknowledged Him within ourselves and we honor His Presence with performance. Our behavior reflects our level of acknowledgement of and appreciation for God’s influence in our lives. When we show Him that our journeys shall not be dictated by the events that our physical forms engage in, we prove to Him that [even] His work in our lives is not in vain.

Make God proud, become empowered.

~Namaste~
