Soul-Defining Relationships

Posted by on Feb 5, 2013 in Divine Thoughts | 0 comments

‘Soul-defining Relationships’ are those relationships that can make or break you. They are the ended relationships whose terminations either propelled you towards negative behavior (damaged your ego) or propelled you towards positive behavior (strengthened your spirit). For each person, there is a specific number of ‘soul-defining relationships’ to occur during their life-experience. Acknowledging that fact – or accepting that concept – can aide one in dealing with heartbreak more effectively, positively and completely.

‘Soul-defining Relationships’ may not be great relationships that turn bad or so-so relationships that turn worse. They are merely the unions in which their endings, regardless of how it fared during its existence, cause quite a bit of trauma to one’s soul. The relationships are either romantic or friendly in nature and involve quite a bit of emotion – either from both of you or only you. They are intended to facilitate the strengthening of the heart, mind and spirit but many times, the result is the opposite – leaving the heart, mind and/or spirit devastated and broken…usually it’s the heart that gets the ‘honor’.

Self-Imposed Limitations (For Your Own Survival)

We want to think, feel and believe that we can go far beyond that which we think, feel and believe. We want to act as if we have much more power in this life than we really have. We put ourselves in positions to become exhausted and overwhelmed in the name of ‘ability’. We stretch ourselves, feeling as if there’s a little more, and a little more, and a little more…then we SNAP! We break into pieces of anxiety, hopelessness, confusion, despair and misery. Sometimes we have the greatest of intentions; yet those intentions aren’t accompanied by tons and tons of extra ‘ability’.

Spirits, perhaps we must take the time to listen to our Inner Voice when it tells us that we are ‘doing too much’. Then perhaps we wouldn’t need the body aches and pains to be ‘the voice of reason’ notifying us that we’ve had enough…that we’ve reached our limit. Out of obligation, kindheartedness or compassion, we stretch ourselves physically, emotionally, mentally and financially. And while it is good karma to be of assistance, it is also good karma to be mindful of Self and its needs. We can’t care more for others than we do for our Selves for a weakened person offers strength to no one. Continue being kindhearted and supportive in your gestures to others; yet also become kindhearted and supportive in your gestures towards your Self.

Power in Numbers?

It is not suggested that you read with a variety of psychics – not unless you are not serious about psychic readings. Because psychics have varying degrees of ability, some readings may yield some information while other readings may yield far more detail on the same subject. (more…)

Your Role as the Client

Testing the psychicPsychics don’t like to be tested. Yet that is exactly what you have to do before you can allow yourself to believe that this person has this gift in which you shall put your trust. You may not say “What color is my shirt?” or “What is my husband’s name?” Still you want to be able to validate the information that they are giving you. (more…)

Free-Will vs. Psychic ‘Prediction’

We all have free-will; however, some ‘predictions’ that a psychic gives are unchangeable. Sometimes a psychic will relay information that is destined to happen. He/She may sound very confident when they relay this to you for they are being ‘claircognizant’ and just know what shall occur. (more…)

Know Your Psychic

Anyone can learn how to read the tarot cards, runes, and other such tools in order to give readings. Yet it is through the usage of these tools that some develop and strengthen their natural intuitive abilities to provide accurate, detailed readings. Because this is such a personal interaction, you may want to know a little bit about the person offering you such invaluable advice and information. (more…)

Different Types of ‘Psychics’

All who claim to be ‘psychic’ are not so. Some use cold-reading and other forms of manipulation to impress the client into trusting them. They influence the client to share their story, then the ‘psychic’ repeats it back, yet in a cleverly constructed manner, so as to give the appearance of ‘knowing this stuff beforehand’. These people are great listeners and creative communicators. Yet their intent is manipulative and negative.   (more…)
