How to Make the Most of Your Psychic Reading, pt. 2
Know Your Psychic
Anyone can learn how to read the tarot cards, runes, and other such tools in order to give readings. Yet it is through the usage of these tools that some develop and strengthen their natural intuitive abilities to provide accurate, detailed readings. Because this is such a personal interaction, you may want to know a little bit about the person offering you such invaluable advice and information. While you may not know the details of your therapist’s personal life, you can put trust in them relaying to you information and sharing deductions based on their educational accomplishments. And though some psychics acquire ‘higher education’ in the area of intuitive development, metaphysical study, etc., there are no legal recourses to resolving receiving misinformed, inadequate and inaccurate ‘psychic advice’. Personable psychics will often share the details of their private lives in an effort to calm the client, demonstrate the ‘human’ side of themselves, or to stretch out the time (if you’re paying by the minute). Regardless of the intent, you will want to take note of this personal sharing (in addition to reading the psychics’ bios) to determine if this psychic is someone who you can feel comfortable with. If a psychic’s life is in shambles, how can they – gifted or not – enlighten you on how you can fix yours? Either they don’t believe in their own ability or they are not exercising their own God-given power of empowerment and capability.
While some psychics attend places of educational and intuitive training, others may simply rely on their own spiritual connections to God and their Spirit Guides to provide psychic readings. Neither situation is better than the other; you just want to be able to connect with the energy of your psychic, being able to understand their language, their focus and their intentions. Thus, if you are a ‘mental’ person – your predominant energy is in the area of thought/thinking – then you may opt for someone with the external accreditations to read for you; if you are a ‘spiritual’ or ‘emotional’ person – your predominant energy is in the area of spirituality or feelings – then you may prefer someone whose ‘accreditation’ comes from a spiritual source. No ‘type’ is better than the other; each ‘type’ exists so that more can be assisted with the sharing of this gift.
Because the psychic is using energy to read you, you may want to be as informed of their ‘spiritual’ intent during the readings. Are they reading you to help you or are they reading you to pay a bill? Does the psychic believe in their own gift or are they just selling the ‘dream’ to you? Is the psychic ‘preachy’ or are they forthcoming with their own ‘mishaps’? Is the psychic relatable, or does he/she seem aloof and unsympathetic? If you shall seek the services of a psychic, make sure you believe in their intentions while connecting to your energy.
