The Power of ‘Now’

Many of us have regrets. Some of us waste valuable time wallowing in them. Many of us have made decisions that we wish we hadn’t made…we say to ourselves “If I could only go back and do things differently’. Well ‘now’ is your opportunity to ‘go back’ to make the most of your ‘now’.

Once you reflect upon your life, you are then able to realize that it is merely a series-of-events connected by a set of decisions, circumstances, and encounters. And while you are not able to go back in time to change what has occurred, you can use the power of ‘now’ to make conscious, confident decisions that will influence a better way of living in the now and in the future.

Too many of us live life as if things are ‘naturally occurring’ and that we are ‘receiving or living our destinies’. News Flash! Though some experiences and encounters are of God’s will, others are of your decision-making. You led yourself to this ‘uncomfortable’ position of being in an unhealthy, unsatisfying intimate relationship. You led yourself to this ‘uncomfortable’ position of enormous debt and obligation. And yes, it is you who led yourself to this career choice that eats up your time and leaves your soul feeling starved…a job that exhausts your physical body, yet offers no challenge to your mental abilities. However, as your situation is as it is, your ‘now’ offers you the opportunity to change your course of thinking, feeling, and behaving. Your ‘now’ is a powerful tool with which you may change your life in its current form as well as how it shall materialize in the future.

Stop living with your hands tossed up in the air as if you have no control over what is happening in your life. Use your ‘now’ to improve and cultivate your tomorrows.

~Namaste~
